Alright so first off, I have some apologies and some thanks you's.

I AM SO SORRY I SENT SUCH A SHORT EMAIL last week... ha as soon as my computer shut off I just sat there and realized how pathetically short and boring it was.. ha so I'm sorry! And now, THANK YOU for all of the birthday wishes!!!! It was so nice to hear from everyone and for you all to think of me! I feel old here in England... haha and thank you for keeping me in your thoughts and prayers. There truly is a power in prayer and I can feel it all the way over here in England.

So I have exciting news about transfers this week but I'll save that for the end :)

Update on the Work

So the work is moving along here. We do a lot of finding. Still. haha but that's alright! It gives me the opportunity to become pro at bearing my testimony on the spot and to meet so many incredible people! The ward is so great and they all work so hard... I just want to find those souls that will help build up the kingdom of God in Crewe!! We walk EVERYWHERE. So much walking... our shoes wear out so fast but I think that will be the least of my problems when I get home. Forget about the shoes wearing down, I'm going to have stubs for feet when I get home! Really, though.

We're teaching some truly wonderful people. We have these powerful spiritual lessons but then we have a hard time meeting with them consistently.. I think Satan really gets in the way. It's so hard! This war is real and we need everyone to be a missionary! Not just us full time missionaries! But all of you, can help share the gospel and the joy and peace it brings into your lives and your family's life.

Ok, preaching moment over.

Miracle Moment

So this one was really sweet for me. It isn't anything big or grand at all... but it just let me know in that moment that my Heavenly Father loves me and knows what I need :) We were walking back to our flat after a particularly rough day. No one was interested and they were quite rude to be honest. I think England had lost in their football match or something... and so we were a bit down. I really was not in the mood to stop random people to talk about the gospel haha but as we were approaching this girl I just said Hiya without even thinking about it. I gave her a card, introduced myself and then just started to testify away!

She started to respond and that's when I noticed the nametag she was wearing. It said "Alexa" on it. My heart just filled with a love for her! my Sister's name is Alexa and at that moment I just wanted to hug the random stranger (I refrained) and just cry because I missed my sister so much! But I asked her if she would ever like to learn more and she enthusiastically said "Yes! Of Course!!" we exchanged numbers, said a prayer, and were on our way. Later that evening we receive a text: "

Funny story

So. After being around someone at all times of the day, and I mean every second of the day, you would think it would be nice to get away for a minute wouldn't you? Nope. Wrong. You feel weird and uncomfortable and unsafe and weird and just weird. Really weird. I hope that helps you understand a little about how I felt during this next moment..

Sister Nelson and I were on the bus talking to people and she was sitting behind me and I was towards the front of the bus. Well We had missed our first stop to get off so I pushed the button for the next one and then got up slowly, walked to the front, hopped off, then turned around to wait for Sister Nelson.

Did she get off? Nope! The bus driver closed the doors and then sped off as I stood there and watched Sister Nelson chatting away, completely oblivious to the fact that I had just gotten off. That was a weird experience for me.. haha So I just started walking towards the bus station which is where the bus would eventually end up with Sister Nelson still on it.

That entire time walking I felt so weird.. haha yepp. That happened. We got separated and I have never felt so awkward walking alone before in all my life.

Foods/words

Crumble: don't really know how to explain it... it's kind of like peach cobbler but it could be made with anything, not just peaches. And of course, there is cream poured on it :)

They don't really do bags of candy here... it's a round, tall box called "celebrations" and it's full of little mini candies :) I got one for my birthday!

So Sister Nelson cut her fringe recently. No, it's not strings on a shirt or something.. it's actually bangs. Like, your hair. Yeah they call it fringe! So different haha

Quotes

I can't remember if I've put this one or not.. so I'll share it anyways because it made me laugh haha

We were having tea at a members home and then a short lesson afterwards where we asked them simple questions and they would respond as though they had just been asked this question by their friend who was not a member.

The youngest girl (age 6) pulled the question out of the hat that read "Why don't you have tattoos?" and this was her reply "Well we don't have tattoos because we are all Jesus' sheep and sheep don't have tattoos!"

There you have it. Can't beat the logic of a 6 year old :)

Transfers!

Alright, here is the big news everyone!!!! So we received our transfer calls this weekend anddddddddddd *DRUMROLL*

I am staying here in Crewe! But Sister Nelson is leaving :((

BUT. My new companion is Sister Clawson!!! And here's the funny part... Sister Clawson was Sister Nelson's trainer!!!! So in the mission we have terms for everything... Sister Nelson was my trainer and so she is my mum in the mission. Which would make Sister Clawson my Grandma... SO MY GRANDMA IS COMING TO CREWE!!!

I am just so excited!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, I received a call from the AP's... Telling me I need to start working on getting my license. Oh dear. Driving in England here I come!!

I love all of you and think of you all every day. You're in my thoughts and prayers and I count it as a blessing every day that I know you.

Sending my love from England,

Sister Reed
