And if you don't believe that, then send me a quick email because that is one of the most beautiful things a person can hold onto in this life. FAMILIES ARE FOREVER. And I love mine more than anything in the world.

Alright, now off to this past week! I feel like I have so many things that I could say and I just don't have enough fingers or enough time to type it all out... so hopefully I will be able to convey it all with as much love as I felt when I had these experiences :)

Miracles

Normally I think I would put this at the end.. but I just love miracles so it will be first today :)

wow. Where to begin? Well, this miracle is a personal one. It's something that I have been struggling with for well, the past five months of my mission! It's amazing to see the Lord's hand in my life and to see Him bless others.. but when I get to be the direct recipient of His work it just leaves me in awe.

Every single morning we have an hour of personal study. Now, I'm not much of a morning person (I really like my sleep) but I have never had such a hard time staying awake before! And not only that, but every single morning, for the entire hour of personal study, my head would just pound. I would be trying so hard to keep my eyes open that my head would ache! And then I would just be out of it for the hour.

It has been one of the most frustrating things. Because I know how important that hour is and to not be able to utilize it was really hindering my ability to love being out here.

Finally, probably 5 weeks too late, I decided to ask for a priesthood blessing of healing.

I don't know why exactly that it took me so long to ask, maybe it was because I thought that a silly headache wasn't a big enough reason, but it finally came to a point when I needed to just show my faith.

And so I received a priesthood blessing last Wednesday night that I may be healed. In my blessing it said that the conditions in which I would be healed would be based upon my desire.

My desire for what?

I needed to desire to be here. I have been struggling for so long to want to be here and to be waking up early to do this that I didn't even realize that of course I wouldn't have a good study! I needed to desire to be here first!

The next morning I woke up and prayed not just for my headache to go away for that hour, but for the desire to love this work.

It was one of the best studies that I have ever had.

ONE more miracle! haha before this turns into a novel and I don't get to email anyone back.

Wednesday evening Sister Clawson and I were trying to think of where we should go in the morning for an extra hour that we hadn't had planned for yet. We prayed to be directed on where to go and then quietly sat and pondered our options. I kept thinking of a place that started with the letters "Gr" but I just couldn't think of any street names. There was one called Gresty but there wasn't much on it so I ignored that thought.

The Sister Clawson spoke up and said "I think that we should go to Gresty Road".

Well, there you have it folks! I couldn't believe it!

The next morning we walked for an hour up and down the road, meeting a few passersby but not being able to teach anyone. It wasn't until we started heading home that we found Mark. It was incredible! We taught him about how there was a prophet again on the earth today and about the Book of Mormon being another Testament of Jesus Christ. I just still can't get over it haha

Funny Moments...or Awkward

Who needs a tv or youtube when you have Sister Clawson for a companion? The thing is, she just comes out and says the most awkward things and makes everyone feel uncomfortable but she doesn't even care! It's fantastic! hahaha I can't stop laughing at half of the moments we have.

Sarah, who is getting baptised on Saturday, was having her interview last Wednesday and afterwards Sister Clawson said she would roar for her.

Yeah, like, a real roar.

So she did.

She just stood there in her little lion stance and let out this ridiculous roar! I couldn't believe it haha

But it's all good, because it's just Sister Clawson.

She's gonna kill me for doing this... but she gets home in two weeks and so I want all of you who wish to hear what a lion roars like to message her somehow and ask her to roar for you. It's the best. I'll give you her name when she isn't a missionary anymore ;)

Crewe News

CREWE IS LITERALLY THE BEST PLACE EVER. I just love everyone here. They are my second family! The ward is incredible. We are so excited because we are planning for a Family History day on the 20 of September and it is going to be a blast! If any of you are interested in where you come from, check out familysearch.org! It's free and addictive! haha So beware :)

Christmas is starting. Yeah, you heard me right! ha There are Christmas signs being advertised.. it's crazy! But also makes me really really happy, so no complaints :)

Sarah is getting baptised this Saturday and Chris is dated for the 6 of September. I don't think I have ever met a more loving person than Chris. Seriously, your heart can't get any bigger than his.

And we met this wonderful lady named Theo who came to church with us on Sunday! We are doing family history with her as well and I just absolutely adore her.

I love these people with all of my heart!

Foods! And Words!

Let's see... I've kind of sort of lost track of what foods are new and what isn't... haha

But I absolutely love eating yogurt and granola together. Which are two things I don't think I would have ever tried before haha

I still won't eat anything super foreign. I have to work my way up to that one..

Oh! And people with either say "trah" or "tah" as a way to say thank you :)

Quotes of the Week

Oh wow. There are so many.

And I forgot my quote book.

Let's see...

"We can argue about flags all day... but there is only one on the moon! 'Merica!" ~Elder Smith in a discussion about state flags... I just had to draw the Texas one on the board to start the discussion :)

Anyways, I love you all! And I hope that you have a week full of miracles and don't forget to count your blessings and do something kind for someone this week! <3

Loads of love from England!

~Sister Reed
